The Emirates Airline Foundation and Emirates Auction have successfully raised AED 88 million (US$24 million) through an auction to support humanitarian programmes for underprivileged children worldwide. The auction, which ran from 17 December 2025 to 17 January 2026, attracted over 900 bids from 131 countries, offering seven rare Emirates Skywards membership numbers with Platinum tier status benefits. The highest single bid reached AED 16 million.
The funds will enable the Foundation to launch new projects and expand existing programmes in collaboration with 14 NGOs across nine countries, including India, the Philippines, Brazil, and Kenya. The initiative will become an annual event, providing ongoing opportunities for supporters to contribute to the Foundation's mission.
Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline and Chairman of the Emirates Airline Foundation, expressed gratitude for the global community's generosity, stating, "The proceeds will allow us to do more, partner with more organisations, reach new communities, and strengthen the programmes already changing the lives of hundreds of children."
Abdullah Matar Al Mannai, Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates Auction, highlighted the collaboration's success, noting, "We are pleased with the outstanding results achieved by this auction, which demonstrate what can be accomplished when purpose, innovation, and collaboration come together."
The Emirates Airline Foundation, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, provides vulnerable children with essential services, whilst Emirates Auction continues to support charitable initiatives through its advanced digital platforms. The partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to social responsibility and global humanitarian impact
