Etihad Airways sees 28% passenger increase in November

Etihad Airways reported a substantial increase in passenger numbers for November 2025, with 2.1 million travellers, reflecting a 28% rise compared to the same month in 2024. This growth is part of a broader trend, as the airline has carried 20.2 million passengers in the year to date, a 20% increase from the previous year. The airline's passenger load factor also improved, reaching 89% in November.

The airline's expansion efforts have been pivotal in this growth. November saw the introduction of new routes to destinations including Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, and Medina, contributing to increased passenger numbers and supporting inbound travel to Abu Dhabi. The fleet size has also expanded significantly, with 124 aircraft in operation by the end of November, up from 98 the previous year. This includes the addition of four A321LRs, underscoring Etihad's commitment to growth and investment.

CEO Antonoaldo Neves highlighted the airline's strategic efforts, stating, "These results demonstrate the hard work of our teams. We've systematically built out our network, invested in our product, and our expanded capacity is bringing more visitors to experience all that Abu Dhabi has to offer."

As Etihad Airways continues to expand its network and fleet, the airline is well-positioned for continued growth, maintaining high load factors and operational strength as it approaches the end of the year.
