Previous owners of four travel businesses have teamed up to run the four brands again.
Chris Breen and Teresa Bennett have become managing directors of independent company The Natural Travel Collection Limited, which will include the Wildlife Worldwide, Dive Worldwide, Oceans Worldwide and Equine Adventures brands.
The news follows Chameleon Worldwide’s announcement last week which saw the company cut its ties with Intrepid Travel and become independent, with the Families Worldwide, Walks Worldwide and Schools Worldwide sticking with them.
Breen and Bennett said its four brands will focus on bespoke packages with new ‘collector’s item’ style brochures with a strong focus on sustainability to roll-out from August.
“We are more than delighted that, after many months of negotiation, we’ve reached agreement to take back 100% control of these four key businesses,” said Breen. ”Nick Joynes has also joined the company as director; the three of us have worked together for many years and believe implicitly in travel as a force for good in the world, provided it is built on sustainable principles and with due care and attention given both to those living in the travel destination and the natural resources of the region”.
