About the opportunity…
The Global Banking & Fraud Solutions team advise Global Businesses and support the Australian stores and support functions in managing all transactional banking arrangements, including bank account operations, credit card facilities (both purchasing cards and merchant facilities) and all payment and collection channels. The team is the primary contact for all FCTG businesses with regards to global card fraud risks. The team is responsible for owning and managing the primary global payment gateway and fraud platform used within FCTG Leisure, as well as the transactional banking platforms used by the Australian business.
We are looking for an experienced Banking and Fraud Analyst to be responsible for supporting all areas of the FCTG Australian operations with regards to Transactional Banking products and solutions, credit card payment solutions (both for customers and suppliers), card fraud and risk mitigation. Work will at times extend to assisting or working with overseas businesses of FCTG. The role will require superior customer service, pro-active assessment and review of fraud exposures, and a solution based approach to internal customers’ needs.
What you’ll do…
Respond and resolve general banking and card queries received from the business
General banking administration including bank traces, recalls, sweeps and associated reconciliation processes
User and system maintenance of Transactional Banking platforms, Purchasing Card and Virtual Credit Card platforms
Assist with the management and monitoring of all rules in fraud management systems, under the direction of senior team members
Customer chargeback and dispute management and responses
Lodgment of chargebacks for purchasing card / virtual credit card fraud / disputes
Provide support to other team members as required
Identify, recommend and implement ongoing process improvements and efficiencies
Work with Australian and global finance teams and businesses to identify opportunities and leverage One Best Way
Ensure compliance with Group Treasury policy
Understanding of best practice control environment and active recommendation of improvements to controls
Ensure process and procedures minimise risk of loss to FCTG and identify areas of risk to be mitigated
Provide outstanding service to internal businesses and external suppliers, with a focus on meeting customers’ needs and expectations
Accountability and ownership of own performance and meeting customer’s requirements

Desirable/ Required Experience…
Finance and/or Banking Industry experience (Required)
Risk Management or Fraud experience
Travel Industry Knowledge
Knowledge of Flight Centre systems
Microsoft Excel skills
Degree qualification
