A great opportunity has arisen to join the European Corporate Land team at Flight Centre Travel Group. With travel surpassing pre-pandemic levels, we’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and assist in driving the commercial performance of the business.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Land Europe, this person will be responsible for driving hotel/car sales and margin improvements across Corporate Traveller & FCM UK/Europe. As part of the Corporate Land team, this person will analyse sales & reservation data, global contracts, margins, and work directly with brand SWOT, Account Management, Operations and key stakeholders on brand and customer-level action plans to improve sales performance.
They will maximise the opportunities of new technology through customer-level programmes and give expert guidance on the best solutions to Operations and Account Management. Where necessary, this person will support Account Management and Operations with customer facing interactions. This person will be an expert in their field whilst providing leadership and guidance to drive strategy at all levels across the corporate business. They will be expected to liaise with and work on best practices with global counterparts from other nations, particularly when dealing with FCM multi-national customers.
Accountabilities:
Work with brand SWOT, sales, Ops and AM on hotel strategy
Work with global counterparts with similar roles and responsibilities
Create customer level strategies directly with AM/ops and follow up with quarterly progress reports
Engage and create accountability with Ops/AMs by providing KPIs and insights to drive action plans
Design specific customer solutions and programs to drive satisfaction, growth, and supplier/rate optimisation
Use data and analytics to spot opportunities for improving specific customer sales and margins
Work with the FC Corporate brands marketing teams to establish the best go-to-market strategies, approaches, and execution
Continually strengthen and improve relationships with Supply partners
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in the travel industry – Essential
A comprehensive knowledge of Global travel IT systems and processes – Preferred
Experience in a client and supplier relations – Preferred
