Job Description

Your mission – should you choose to accept it…
You will be tasked with growing our future business prospects and converting them into customers for life. In this role, you won’t be selling a product, you will be identifying and connecting with decision makers, engaging with them to uncover their needs, presenting our travel solution, and converting qualified leads into a closed sale.
You’ll keep your pipeline moving by focusing on quick turnaround sales and building relationships with kiwi businesses. Closed sales will be passed over to a Travel Manager to deal with the day to day bookings and tactical stuff; this works for you as you’re a true hunter, who wants to concentrate on getting the next sale and watching the money roll in.
What will your day look like?
Cold calls – Networking– referrals … Whatever helps you secure those first appointments with prospect customers
Create and manage your own pipeline alongside the opportunities that are handed to you! Our marketing team are delivering hot inbound enquiries
Developing relationships with key decision makers on the daily – get out and about as much as you can
Listen, learn, and act – our most successful salespeople are the ones that take the time to understand where their customers are experiencing challenges and then recommending the right solution to solve that problem
Collaborate with your team and internal key stake holder groups to onboard your new customers
Challenge your growth mindset to keep learning and developing your travel industry knowledge

What’s in your tool kit
You are an experienced tenacious business development manager or sales executive with a history in selling B2B solutions that is a self-driven master of networking and smashing sales targets
You have the ability to manage your day autonomously to reach the best outcomes for your prospect customers and the business
You a champion in communication specifically in presentations, proposal creation and emails. And you will always take a collaborate approach to your work – teamwork makes the dream work!
You have no fear when it comes to cold calling and have the ability to shrug off a NO and prepare for your next YES
You have experience working with a CRM tool – Lighthouse experience would be a bonus!

Location: Ideally Auckland or Wellington but will consider other locations for the right applicant
