Job title:

Data and Reporting Analyst

Purpose:

This person will develop and drive automation and analytics of raw data and reporting, for all Client facing Corporate Brands.

Primary duties and responsibilities (KRAs)

Data Integrity
Conversion of raw data into meaningful, manageable information through SQL, and advanced excel skills
Review and analysis of Sales data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the core data
Liaise with account management, operational teams and finance to address specific data errors, and ensuring these are corrected appropriately
Assist with transition of corporate clients on to the Clientbank /Gottmi Reporting platforms
Daily, weekly and monthly duties and checks for Clientbank and other Reporting tools to be completed
Assist will management of “product” data to be migrated and managed in SQL
Driving new levels of automation in all aspects of Data collection; digestion and distribution
 

Data Analytics
Maintenance and updating of SQL database
Development of timely, accurate, relevant and flexible customer MI reports used to drive the strategic direction of the company
Handling of large quantities of data using innovative / effective systems
Development of unique reports displaying business insights, and commentary to our internal stakeholders to drive company strategies
Being able to deliver a reports at a different levels of understanding throughout FCTG Corp / FCM
Preparation of high quality Client facing Management Information packs
Production of monthly customer bespoke MI
 

Leadership
Even though this is not a leadership role intrinsic leadership is required as an Analyst
Drive the outcomes of the above plans
Team cross skilling on systems
Maintain D&R SLA
Improving efficiency of processes
Integral part of the Power BI roll out team
Providing strategic support to FCTG Stakeholders with reporting needs
Mentor and support D&R team members on technical, operational, matters
Develop and maintain strong relationships and communications with all stakeholders, including but not limited to:
Operational Team – drive stronger POS data collection
Implementation & Technical Support Teams – trouble shoot and correct Tech drive POS data
Account Management – develop and understand RIF’s; analytics and observations
Customer – Understanding the data; sources
Internal Leadership – Communication of idea’s, wins, issues etc.

Internal: D&R Team, Business Leader, Travel Managers, Key Account Managers, Client Relationship Manager, Finance, Business Systems, Online Business Systems, Corporate Executive teams, Automation Team
External: Clients and Suppliers
 

Job Requirements

Education and qualification:

Minimum requirements
 
Matric
Degree – Preferable
Leadership training – Preferable
SQL – Basic Essential
Excel – Essential

Experience:

1-3 years data analytics experience
Leadership experience – preferableTravel Industry experience – preferable GDS knowledge – Amadeus preferableProtas – preferable
