We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team. This is a hands-on role, responsible for the design, implementation and operation of our shared build and hosting platforms in the cloud.
In this role you will support and enable teams with our DevOps practices and tooling. Success means you have experience with a broad range of AWS services, container orchestration and with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Gitlab.

The role in a nutshell:
Contribute to DevOps initiatives and priorities across our agile product teams
Support the adoption of DevOps practices and tooling such as CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, AWS Cloud Computing & Cloud Native architectures, security by design
Identify opportunities and execute the automation and consolidation of processes in our DevOps ecosystem
Craft high quality, secure, testable, maintainable code that is not over engineered
Own the quality of what we build, through automation and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance
We’d love to hear from you if this sounds like you:
You are experienced working as a DevOps Engineer
You have experience in AWS cloud
Understanding and know how in implementing Continuous Delivery
Have run containerised applications with Docker that are built for scale using AWS services such as ECS/EKS
Knowledge of serverless platforms such as AWS Lambda
History of working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK & Terraform
Record of working with observability tools, such as logging (Splunk, Kibana) and monitoring (New Relic, Data Dog)
Experience with Linux and shell / scripting languages (bash/Python)
