Flight Centre Travel Group is searching for an experienced English to French (Canadian) Translator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.  As an ideal candidate, you have proven Canadian corporate translation experience and a university degree in translation or professional translation accreditation.  The Translator will be responsible for the accurate written translation of all Company documents and communications between English and French (Canadian) in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the translation from English to French for communications within all departments including Retail and Corporate Operations, Finance and Accounting, Risk & Legal, Learning & Development, Payroll, Human Resources, Marketing, IT and Meetings & Events.
Manage the formal written translations for internal documents, policies, surveys, letters, compensation plan changes, marketing materials and contracts for FCTG Americas.
Translations must be delivered within the agreed deadlines and also maintain the content, context and style of the original material.
Liaise with and provide translation support to, Les Voyages Laurier Du Vallon Inc. (LDV).
Participate in team discussions or meetings regarding Company requirements, accurate terminology and context for all translations.
Occasionally proof, review or edit work performed by external translators for accuracy and consistency, providing updates or recommendations, as necessary.
Liaise with internal departments to clarify details and ensure the smooth delivery of the final product to all required specifications.
Stay current with industry tools and resources used to provide translation services.
Position Requirements:
Bilingual in English and French
2+ years of previous administrative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
2+ years Previous Canadian Corporate translation experience
Completion of some administrative courses and/or post-secondary degree preferred
A university degree in translation or a professional translation accreditation preferred
Additional proficiency in English to Spanish translation is considered an asset
