Job Opportunity: Event Planner (FCM UK/IE)

As Event Planner for FCM M&E UK/IE, your role will be to inspire your clients and drive them to achieve their business goals. You will be supporting the Manager of M&E and collaborating with team members to meet or exceed business targets.
Accountabilities:
Event Management – To assist the Event Manager in establishing correct systems and processes from the outset to ensure timely, error free event management.
To support the Event Manager in maintaining accurate files, budgets & project plans in order to adhere to deadlines and budgets, especially attrition and cancellation deadlines as per signed contracts
Negotiation with suppliers – Builds strong relationships with suppliers
Communication – To maintain effective and customer focused communication throughout with all stakeholders
Reporting – To ensure all delegate data is accurately processed including travel and accommodation

Finance – Be aware of the financial position of the business ie company/team targets and contribution to margin. Reconciling of your own components of an event. Timesheets completed by the end of each month
Customer Service – Provides outstanding professional service by exceeding all client/delegates expectations
Experience/Qualifications:
Demonstrated effective customer service skills – Essential
Events Experience
A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products/destinations – Desirable
Degree qualified, preferred in Event Management – Essential
Cvent Experience – Essential
