Global System & Business Solutions Analyst

The Opportunity:
We are looking for an Analyst to join our global family within our Systems and Business Solutions Department. The Analyst’s role is to ensure proper system operations apply so that end users can accomplish business tasks, consistently delivering an amazing customer experience at their end.
The role includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user system help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain SLA expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver all project work as assigned by leader
Provide outstanding support of incoming requests to the Support Desk via telephone, web portal, email, and chat to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations.
Problem solve to identify and resolve business and system-related issues
Proactively recommend process changes for business improvement
Communicate any system updates, changes release effectively to business workstreams using the most effective communication tools to do so
Compile any feedback from end-user or business workstream and deliver to system specialist
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
University degree in a related field
Proven experience in system support
Experience with SQL and within the travel industry a plus
Preferable to have experience with Tourplan
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent problem-solving skills with a close attention to detail
Long-term results-oriented
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be flexible and implement change when needed
Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).
Ability to understand and translate technical issues to business language and vice-versa
