Job Title: Payroll Coordinator – 6 Month Contract Assignment
Job Purpose:
Prepares the monthly payroll information by entering payroll data to the payroll system and internal database. Assisting with processing pay runs and answering employee questions about payroll information. May maintain records on vacation, sick leave, and other PTO etc. Reports to Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities:
Completing written and verbal verifications
Sorting/Creating/Filing mail and employee documents
Updating name changes, address changes, direct deposit info in Paylocity
Updating employee Federal and State withholding forms
Monitoring payroll email inbox and responding to employee queries including password resets
Adding new hires in CORE (internal employee database) and Paylocity
Follow up with Managers/TLs to ensure time-cards are approved by Monday of pay week
Assist Payroll Manager with processing payroll
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years payroll experience, preferably with Paylocity
Strong attention to detail and computer skills
General knowledge of tax withholding
Excellent communication skills
