Pricing Analyst

This is what you’ll sign up for
The pricing analyst reports to the Commercial Leader, and is focused on optimising sales and margins globally. They develop successful, replicable pricing strategies based on sound analysis. Responsibilities include:
Conducting market research to surface opportunities
Developing and manually testing pricing strategies informed by data analysis
Writing automation prototypes based on successful strategies
Working with the development team to productionise successful prototypes
Reporting on past performance and outlining future plans
You will be supported by all parts of the business, including Finance, Software Development, Data Engineering and Customer Care. In addition, you will have access to colleagues across the Flight Centre Travel Group. In exchange, the pricing analyst will take strong ownership of their domain and have a laser focus on producing results.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
University Degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or comparable
Good understanding of business, economics, and business intelligence
Experience in Python or similar
Experience in an analytical role and/or data analysis is an advantage
Experience in an eCommerce-company and/or the Travel Industry is an advantage
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
An ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
Ambitious, driven and known to show initiative
