Discova is on the lookout for an experienced Product Design Team Leader superstar to join our expert, creative team in Indochina!
About the Opportunity
The Product Design Team Leader for our Indochina destinations develops innovative travel products to suit the needs of current and prospective clients. Aware of new customer trends and emerging opportunities, you will provide insight and product development direction so that the product offering at Discova leads the market. Possessing strong commercial acumen, as designer you must ensure products are both competitively priced and highly profitable and that product content is complete for distribution.

Your main responsibilities are:  
Sitting at an integral cross-section, your role will be to fully realise the company’s strategic vision by ensuring that Discova’s authentic, local, and experiential product range stands out from the competition.
Oversee product selection for high value agent tenders and key agent renewals.
Ensure the development of best practice processes for the designing of product globally.
Ensure research and benchmarking takes place for all newly designed product.
Monitor the customer segmentation and continually manage the product portfolio, ensuring there is a suitable range of product to match the different requirements of Discova’s clients.
Quickly address gaps in the product range, whether by destination or travel theme.
About you
The Essentials:
A bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in product development and management.
Comprehensive travel industry and Discova destination knowledge.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Extensive travel to or in our destinations or prior experience living in them is a plus.
Minimum 12 months team leadership experience.
