Security Guard

1. Attends the daily guard mounting and notes down all important instructions given by his duty officer.
2. Proceeds immediately to his area of assignment after the guard mounting to start his duty for the day.
3. Provides total customer satisfaction by displaying excellent service to all customers by wearing a friendly smile while on duty.
4. Receives telephone calls using the standard telephone courtesy and relays the information immediately to the party concerned.
5. Implements strictly the house rules and regulation set by the Client and the Agency.
6. Requests politely guests, visitors, customers, and suppliers to register promptly on the visitors log sheet.
7. Requests personal identification from all contractors, suppliers, deliveries in before allowing them entry.
8. Records time of entry or exit of all visitors before allowing them to enter or leave the premises.
9. Implements strictly the wearing of ID cards to all guests, visitors, tenants, customers and its employees while inside the premises.
10. Inspects all incoming luggage and issue Visitors Pass before allowing entry of individuals with valid purpose transaction.
11. Requests politely costumers, guest, visitor, and employee permission to inspect their bags, baggage’s, etc., by conducting the required routine inspection.
12. Assists guests and visitor-suppliers regarding the location of their destination and provides them the correct direction for easy access.
13. Assists and replies promptly to the guests, visitors, customers, and suppliers regarding their inquiry.
14. Checks all items or materials being brought out of the premises and ensures it is accompanied with the appropriate gate pass.
15. Checks gate passes of all pulled out items, materials of equipment and deliveries of any kind shall be properly screened with corresponding gate pass signed by the authorized personnel and duly recorded in the logbook.
16. Ensures that workers/laborers have working permits, are in proper uniform and are wearing the appropriate ID card for easy identification.
17. Checks working permits of construction workers are already been cleared and properly identified. Ensures that workers are properly dressed before allowing them to enter.
18. Checks the construction workers upon their egress whether a permit has been issued to them. Screens properly and thoroughly Contractors who have ongoing projects by checking their work permits and ensuring that these permits are duly signed by the Building Administrator or his authorized representative. Advise workers to wear their required uniforms and pin their ID cards.
19. Records the plate number, vehicle time in and out, the vehicle type in the vehicle checklist. Also directs vehicle traffic in his area of responsibility.
20. Makes comparison of the plate number of the vehicle and the plate number written in the issued parking ticket.
21. Calls his immediate Superior Officer in case a parking ticket is lost and ask the driver/owner to present the original copy of the vehicle’s certificate of registration, current official receipt and/or other proof of evidence of ownership.
21.1 Requests for the identification of the driver/owner and advise him to proceed to the Building Management Office or to the Police authority to seek approval to leave the premises. Ask the driver to sign the logbook for reference before he leaves the area.
21.2 Calls the attention of his Superior Officer for proper disposition should the driver fail to show the required documents as evidence of the vehicle’s ownership.
22. Observes any suspicious looking character roaming around the area and, takes note of the vehicle’s plate number, type and the make of the vehicle.
23. Checks the vehicles parked overnight thoroughly and determines its ownership whether a tenant or an outsider.
24. Observes any suspicious vehicles, roaming around within the area, must take note of the kind, type and plate number of the vehicle in the logbook. Report immediately their observation to his Superior Officer.
25. Advises all delivery vehicles to unload their items or goods at the unloading area.
26. Disallows politely and calmly tenants and delivery vehicles to park in the loading area when loading and unloading deliveries. Directs the delivery vehicles to leave the area after their transactions are completed.
27. Conducts inspection of all Firefighting equipment, machine rooms, Air Handling Unit (AHU), Electrical rooms, Elevator Machine rooms, Cooling tower, Common Comport Rooms, pumps and motors to determine its condition and status and accomplishes the log sheet and submits a report for any defects noted and any security and safety hazards/risk found.
28. Sees to it that elevator machine room is always locked.
29. Sees to it that all keys are properly turned over to the incoming guard.
30. Assists entry of maintenance personnel at AHU and electrical rooms, while maintenance work is conducted.
31. Monitors the aerial space of the building, and prevents anyone from putting-up any unauthorized sign, billboard, and other forms of propaganda.
32. Assists other guards in their respective posts when the need arises in implementing security policies, rules and regulations and enforces extra security measures when needed.

34. Monitors and checks unattended boxes or packages left or placed unattended within the building premises.
35. Ensures that common areas, mainly the emergency evacuation areas are free from any obstruction.
36. Protects our customers, tenants and employees from crimes such as slashing, snatching, pick pocketing, etc., by being alert and vigilant at all times.
37. Prevents the loss of properties through pilferage and other forms of destruction against the company including of the tenants by being watchful and attentive at all times.
38. Reports all unusual occurrences happening in his area of responsibility to his Superior Officer as necessary.
39. Performs other tasks responsibly as instructed by his Superior Officer, Management, and the Client from time-to-time.
