This hands-on role is ideal for a passionate and driven Senior Accountant who is looking for a new challenge and excited to grow with our dynamic support business in our head office based in Brisbane. 

You will provide accounting support to the Australian Reporting Leader through delivery of accurate and timely month end results, forecasting and relevant financial reports, ensuring that financial information is delivered in compliance with regulatory reporting and FCTG Group Accounting Policies. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of financial controls are in place through preparation of reconciliations and adherence to internal policies and procedures. 

You will be: 

Preparing financial reporting, analysis and month-end close. 
Taking responsibility for monthly balance sheet reconciliations and the legal entity cash reconciliation process (including off-shore team). 
Forecasting weekly cash flow. 
Delivering 3-way modelling forecasts including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow. 
Reviewing intercompany transactions and eliminations. 
Reviewing company structure changes. 
Providing assistance to external auditors during reporting periods. 
Contributing to the development of new efficiencies to increase productivity within the team and across the business. 
Communicating with internal stakeholders, including Finance Business Partner, Operations Leaders and GET (GFR, Tax, Legal), as well as external stakeholders, such as suppliers and auditors. 

All about you:  

Qualified or working towards CA/CPA 
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial environment 
Minimum intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel and Powerpoint required 
Experience with Google Workspace products 
Experience with Power BI is an advantage
