About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Corporate Traveller Business Partner you will be an experienced finance professional and influencer, providing insight into the numbers and challenging the brand on commercial decision making by providing clear and well thought out recommendations. Combining an ability to analyse large data sets with simple and clear explanations will be key to your success. You will be joining a team of innovative high performers who rely on collaboration, adaptability and continuous improvement to achieve market leading outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting commercial decision making to drive improved returns on capital investments and prioritisation of spend
Enhance our culture of continuous improvement by proactively rationalising existing and introducing new reporting that aligns to business needs, ways of working and drives objectives
Assist in development of commercial models to understand the profitability of various offerings to customers and develop tracking to understand ongoing contract viability
Producing innovative ideas through collaboration on business wide analysis tools to better support and understand the business
Review and consolidation of large market monthly results, including insight and commentary
Provide monthly performance reporting and value add analysis that enables business stakeholders to make informed decisions
Proactively communicate commercial impacts on past and future activities amongst stakeholders
Own and maintain robust and reliable tools that support the forecast and budget processes
Work within a team to assist in managing the contract lifecycle from pricing, negotiation, execution and any commercial amendments
Input into pricing strategy for the group
About You
You are an energetic customer centric finance professional, a commercial thinker, and a strong senior analyst who is able to liaise with all levels of management. You’re someone who is genuinely passionate about interpreting high volumes of data to provide insights to the business. You have the ability to think commercially, be proactive, manage deadlines as well as think outside of the box to solve complex problems.
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Analytical / Reporting role)
Experience in PowerBI or other similar data visualisation technologies required
Comfortable using Excel to manipulate, transform and present data
CA/CPA qualification or another relevant post graduate qualification
High level of ownership
High attention to detail
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to communicate complex financial information simplistically
Experience in a business with high transactional volumes would be advantageous but not necessary
