Strategy & Planning (Senior Manager/Director) – Asia

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Build market intelligence that supports the decision making of our regional strategy.
Partner with our sales and data science teams in developing and supporting our strategic sales verticals.
Design complex models in conjunction with our Head of Data & Analytics that identify and quantify opportunities.
Support the Regional CFO and Asia Executive Team in modelling out the potential ROI of key decisions.
Support the Regional CFO & Executive team in scanning the market for opportunities which align with our long-term strategy and vision.
Support and build complex models that align with our long-term vision and strategy.
 
Sales and AM Analysis
Work with our BDM teams on a deeper understanding of our portfolio and prospects.
Build, analyze and provide guidance around new and innovative market pricing models which support the changing needs of our clients to ensure we bring the most value driven pricing to clients.
Review country level pricing for consistency and alignment.
Work with AM teams to understand client profitability and decision.
 
Investment Support
Work with Regional Executive Teams on building investment models
Support the Regional Executive Teams in analysis of investment opportunities.
Build and review complex scenario-based models to support investment decision making.
Build partnership financial models to assess the return for the business.
 
Business Planning
Assist in reviewing and building programmes that generate significant savings for the business.
Work with the Regional CFO and the Finance leadership team on modelling working capital and developing models on where to best deploy capital.
Continue the work done around optimization of our business and identify further opportunities to help develop and grow our business.
Identify revenue opportunities in conjunction with the business from both a client and supplier side.
 
Leadership
Manage and develop a world class corporate planning team that supports the business with deep insights.
Work with business leaders across Asia and at times Globally in supporting our growth initiatives as a company.
Be a though leader across the organization helping people to make better business decisions.
Extremely visible and have the ability and confidence to understand the strategic vision of our business.
 
Requirements
Strong experience building exceptionally complex scenario-based models.
Significant experience creating and building complex pricing models.
Experience preparing market intelligence reports and working with Data & Analytics teams to build complex market reports.
Strong planning and business modelling skills
Experience modelling complex third party partnership opportunities
Extensive balance sheet and cash flow modelling experience.
Strong understanding of macro and micro economic principles.
Experience leading and coaching a team of planning professionals across our key markets.
Ability to quickly adapt to change in an exceptionally high growth business.
Degree or master’s in quantitative finance
3-4 years in a tier 1 or 2 consulting firm will be beneficial.
CPA/CA/CFA Qualified
Must be fluent in English. A second language of Mandarin or Japanese would be extremely beneficial as the role needs to handle China and Japan markets.
