Global Land Supply (GLS) is Flight Centre Travel Group’s global in-house product procurement and consolidation business, servicing a number of Flight Centre’s worldwide selling businesses including Retail, In-Country Support, Liberty Travel, GoGo Worldwide Vacations and Flight Centre Asia.
About the Opportunity
The GLS Systems Change Management Team Leader is charged with leading the implementation work for the platforms supported by GLS Systems Support and used by the wider FCTG community.
This involves onboarding new platforms, managing system release readiness and delivering non development business change.
What you will be doing:
Project Management
Manage all aspects of project execution, conflicts, and interdependencies in accordance with the approved project management plan
Determine key milestones and tasks for project related plans and schedules, and manage these through to project delivery
Defines, documents, and carries out implementation projects
Understand the global business and IT roadmap and ensure all projects are in line with this objective
Change Management
Full end-to-end change delivery capability, from Analysis through to Change Planning, Content creation, Change Delivery and Business Readiness
Meet with stakeholders and take responsibility for understanding customer requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution
Supports and executes change activities on business transformation initiatives, particularly involving technology and process change and adoption
Leadership
Effectively lead the team to achieve team results
Train, develop and support team members
Contribute to the strategic vision, drive & success of the entire GLS Systems Area
Documentation of team processes
What you will need:
Minimum 1+ years’ previous experience in a leadership role
Minimum 2+ years in an environment requiring the transfer of complex information, including:
Capture of information, active listening, etc
Dissemination of information via written communication
Organising and chairing meetings with business representatives
Experience with large organisations and/or project environments, and understanding of the use of IT systems in business operations
Worked on at least one large scale project as an instigator of change (i.e. part of the project team)
Experience in the Travel Industry with exposure to travel systems such that there is an understanding of the complexities of global booking systems
1+ years as a representative of a system, process, or business, such that the candidate is able to be authoritative on a subject to peers and senior management
Degree / relevant qualification
Knowledge of Flight Centre Travel Group platforms is desirable
