Flights to and from Faro Airport will continue to be delayed into tomorrow after a storm hit the Algarve early this morning. The roof of the airport’s departure terminal was ripped off during the storm, which injured five people and has since caused flights disruption.
The airport is now allowing flights to operate but on a restricted schedule and is expected to be in the same situation tomorrow. Agents and customers have been advised to check their flight status.
