Accor has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Vietnam with the opening of the Mercure Vung Tau Resort. Located on the Nghinh Phong Cape in southern Vietnam’s Bien Hoa Province, the 80-room resort is 96 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon.

A former French colonial town, the town is a popular seaside escape nestled on a peninsula and surrounded on three sides by the ocean. In addition to its long beaches, the city is home to the former mansion of Indochina’s French governor and the Vung Tau Lighthouse atop Small Mountain.
