Garuda Indonesia has reduced its number of flights on the Bangkok-Jakarta sector from seven to three per week. Effective 16 May, the new thrice-weekly daytime flights replacing the previous daily overnight service. The new service will now operate from Bangkok and Jakarta every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday using its Boeing 737 aircraft.
Bambang Sunan, Garuda’s General Manager for Thailand, Myanmar, Laos & Cambodia, said; “The change in schedule is due to an increase in passenger demand for daytime flights into Jakarta.”
