Hilton Worldwide expands Egypt portfolio

Hilton Worldwide signed an agreement with Egyptian Touristic Resorts LLC, to introduce two new premium Hilton Hotels and Resorts properties to Cairo and Alexandria. The dual signing for the 390-room Hilton Giza Pyramids and the 195-room Hilton Alexandria King’s Ranch Resort, represent the 19th and 20th Hilton Worldwide properties to open in Egypt.
Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide, Middle East & Africa, said: “The two signings will add significant value to our current, extensive network of hotels and reaffirm our position.”
Hilton Giza Pyramids expected to open in 2016 will boast 18 suites catering to both the business and leisure traveller. Amenities include a large function room, two boardrooms, four meeting rooms, a business centre, a health club plus spa and an outdoor swimming pool. Subsequently, the Hilton Alexandria King’s Ranch Resort is set to open at the end of 2013.
