Holidays and flights to Israel are to continue as normal despite the FCO’s travel warning on visiting parts of the country.
Kirker Holidays and Black Tomato are amongst the firms to have expressed their confidence in the country, saying they have been able to operate holidays successfully and safely despite terrorist attacks.
Naama Oryan-Kaplan, director of the UK & Ireland of the Israel Government Tourist Office (IGTO) said it was “positive to note” that all flights have continued to fly into Tel Aviv throughout the situation.
“IGTO and the Ministry of Tourism in Israel had monitored the situation in Israel to keep the 100,000 tourists from the UK, Ireland and the rest of the world, safe and were able to enjoy their holiday experience,” she added.
The FCO has advised travellers not to visit the area where Israel borders Gaza following attacks and protests.
