Holland America Line to broadcast FIFA World Cup 26 fleetwide

Holland America Line has announced a partnership with IMG to broadcast the FIFA World Cup 26 across its fleet of 11 ships, ensuring that football enthusiasts can enjoy the tournament whilst cruising. The matches, taking place from 11 June to 19 July 2026 in the US, Canada, and Mexico, will be available on Sport 24 Special Event Channels in guests' staterooms. Some marquee matches will also be shown on the Lido Pool's big screen or in the World Stage theatre on select ships.

Michael Smith, senior vice president of guest experience and product development at Holland America Line, highlighted the importance of this offering: "Guests can confidently book their cruise for next summer knowing that if their national or favourite team advances, they will be able to watch the match from the comfort of their stateroom."

Kate Garden, commercial director at IMG, added, "The FIFA World Cup 26 represents a truly global celebration of sport, and we are pleased to support Holland America Line in delivering an unforgettable viewing experience for fans on board."

The World Cup coverage will enhance the cruise experience, whether guests are sailing in Alaska, Canada/New England, or Europe. Sample voyages during the tournament include a 7-day Alaska Explorer on Noordam departing 5 July 2026, and a 14-day Wild British Isles cruise on Nieuw Statendam departing 10 July 2026.
