IHCL takes its ‘Ginger’ Brand to  Nagaland

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL)  announced the signing of a Ginger hotel in Dimapur, Nagaland. This greenfield project marks IHCL’s debut in the state enhancing its presence in Northeast India.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “Dimapur plays a pivotal role as an economic and cultural centre in Nagaland. With increasing travel demand and infrastructure development in the region, this signing aligns with our strategy to expand our presence in the Northeast. We are delighted to partner with T.K. Enterprises for this project.”

Located near Dimapur Airport, the 90-key Ginger Dimapur will embody the brand’s lean luxe philosophy, delivering a seamless blend of comfort and functionality. Guests can enjoy sweeping views of the cityscape along with thoughtfully designed spaces that balance work and play. The hotel will feature Ginger’s signature all-day diner, Qmin, offering global and local favourites, complemented by a bar as well as a fully-equipped fitness centre and versatile meeting spaces that caters to both business and social gatherings, ensuring an elevated stay experience for today’s modern traveller.

Dimapur, the largest city in Nagaland, has a multifaceted economic profile spanning trade, manufacturing, services, and transportation.

With this addition, IHCL will have 19 hotels across Northeast India, including 10 under development.
