IndiGo to launch Kathmandu flights

Indian low-cost carrier, IndiGo will add Kathmandu as its fifth international destination. Commencing today (28 October 2011), the airline will offer daily flight services between New Delhi and Kathmandu. Flights will depart the Indian capital’s Indira Gandhi International Airport T3 at 1055, arriving in Kathmandu at 1300. The return service departs the Nepalese capital at 1400, arriving back into Delhi at 1550.
“Kathmandu is a key market for us and holds a lot of promise. IndiGo will continue to keep its promise of providing low fares on the New Delhi-Kathmandu-New Delhi routes as well. We hope to provide the much needed avenue for countless Indians to explore wider horizons and at the same time open up the doors to more and more overseas travellers to experience India,” said Aditya Ghosh, President of IndiGo.
IndiGo has appointed M/S President Tours & Travel as its General Sales Agent for Kathmandu.
