Background:
Growing up in Northern Thailand, she found her passion to be history and thought she’d be an historian. However her love for service and people steered her into the hospitality industry. Her impressive career has taken her from starting as the Duty Manager at Banyan Tree 26 years ago til now being the SAVP/General Manager.
Summary:
Ms Nopparat Aumpa is the first female general manager in the luxury hotel chain and one of the few thai female leaders in an industry traditionally dominated by men at senior levels. She credits great mentors seeing her potential throughout her career and her dedication to each title she has had for her success. Focusing on herself and being the best she can be, by doing that she brings out the best in others.
