Jazeera Airways’ Egyptian destination performance soars

Recent statistics revealed by Kuwait’s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) stated that Jazeera Airways maintained high market shares on key Egyptian routes of Assiut, Luxor, and Sohag.
The airline’s February market share on these routes was 56%, 73%, 50% respectively. When comparing these market shares with the same month from last year, the airline’s market share on the Kuwait-Assiut route saw an increase of 10%, Kuwait-Luxor increased by 6%, and the Kuwait-Sohag route increased by 14%.
There was also an increase in serving Beirut from Kuwait with a 38% market share, Bahrain with an 11% market share, Dubai with a 14% market share, and Amman with a 34% market share. Passenger volumes also increased from February 2012 on routes serving Amman, Dubai, Jeddah and Mashhad, respectively by: 7%, 6%, 28% and 49%.
