Jet Airways has enhanced the transit facilities for international passengers at Mumbai airport.
The Mumbai airport operator has assigned gate numbers 4 and 5 in the security hold area for incoming passengers from where they can avail transfer facility to the domestic terminal. “The security hold area will be open from three to seven in the morning for the comfort, so that passengers travelling during these hours can avail direct transfer facility.”
“The introduction of this facility will to a large extent reduce the hassle of passenger waiting for the inter-terminal coach to be taken to the domestic terminal and having to go through security checks. It will also help Jet Airways to improve its on-time performance and decongest the security hold area of the domestic terminal, said Sudheer Raghavan, CCO of Jet Airways.
