Jim Thompson and DTH Travel team up to deliver exquisite adventures aboard The Blue Jasmine

This collaborative experience includes pre-journey events at the Jim Thompson Heritage Quarter in Bangkok

Thailand’s iconic global lifestyle brand Jim Thompson unveils a new collaboration with DTH Travel to curate exquisite travel experiences aboard The Blue Jasmine.

Banking on The Blue Jasmine’s storied history as well as Jim Thompson’s stellar global reputation, this collaborative experience includes pre-journey events at the Jim Thompson Heritage Quarter in Bangkok and features brand-designed interior décor, dining essentials, and amenity kits.

The Blue Jasmine x Jim Thompson experience also features the latter’s  first-ever brand showroom on board the train as it meanders through its exclusive nine-day journey celebrating Thailand’s rich culture and diverse landscapes.

Where old and new are woven into an immersive whole

A symbol of the ‘New Thailand’ tourism era, The Blue Jasmine promotes high-value, low-impact travel, connecting visitors to local communities and cultural heritage across the country.

Meanwhile, DTH Travel, in partnership with Jim Thompson, is set to redefine rail journeys through immersive cultural experiences.

Following the debut of The Blue Jasmine x Jim Thompson experience next month, additional journeys have already been scheduled for January, February, July, November, and December 2026.

An exquisite adventure

The Blue Jasmine is a heritage charter train from the 1960s, featuring ten wagons that accommodate up to 37 passengers.

The journey takes travelers from the vibrant cityscape of Bangkok to the serene ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, Uthai Thani, Chiang Mai, and Sukhothai.

Departing on its maiden voyage from 16th to 24th November, this curated experience invites guests to rediscover Thailand through authentic encounters, traditional cuisine, and the timeless charm of slow travel.

As such, the partnership with Jim Thompson offers guests a uniquely Thai experience that begins at the Jim Thompson Heritage Quarter, featuring a welcome dinner at Jim Thompson, A Thai Restaurant, a visit to the Jim Thompson House Museum, and a stop at the brand’s Iconic Store before boarding the train at Bangkok’s historic Hua Lamphong Station.

Once on board, guests are immersed in timeless Thai elegance, as Jim Thompson’s signature silk designs adorn The Blue Jasmine’s beautifully restored carriages, blending heritage with contemporary style.

At the same time, travelers may also look forward to Thailand’s first-ever Jim Thompson Showroom on Train, featuring the brand’s iconic silk products along with curated fashion and lifestyle collections.
