This role will take responsibility for the sales strategy for the ex UK MICE/groups market for this international destination. The role requires a self-starter to manage all aspects of the sales and account management process and planning, to achieve and exceed annual targets. Key responsibilities include the prospecting of new business, regular client sales calls, coordinating the logistics for events and exhibitions (IMEX, IBTM, The Meetings Show, M&IT Awards etc), destination partner liaison, FAM trips and management of the bespoke crm system. Reporting both to the UK MD and the client directly, you will provide regular updates and monthly reports and analysis. You will be part of a vibrant and lively team, spending around 2 days a week in the office.
Strong communications skills and ability to form positive relationships internally and externally
Knowledge of the MICE and events market an advantage
Excellent sales and commercial skills with a track record of delivering strong sales revenues
Computer literate and good understanding of technology in the workplace
Able to self-manage projects
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
