GCS Recruitment are searching for a Technical Leader to work with one of the leading manufacturing companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Handling maintenance of the heating and cooling systems (HVAC)
• Ensuring the smooth running of the general maintenance functions carried out by the maintenance team and minimum system downtimes, with quick response to faults
• Coordinating and executing the planning and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs within established time frames
• Assisting in procurement and sourcing of materials, equipment, tools and services
• Coordinating and implementing the stock control of tools, equipment and material used for the maintenance function
• Liaising and negotiating with local and foreign suppliers to source equipment and parts
• Ensuring that all tools and equipment at the workshop are serviced regularly and maintained within the safety standards
• Preparing a weekly report on the works carried out and ensure that all works are documented according to ISO 9001 standards

Requirements:

• MQF Level 5 Qualification in a related subject
• Good communication skills; both written and verbal
• Organised with multitasking skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload
• Highly motivated with effective leadership skills
• Ability to work within a team
