GCS Recruitment are searching for a Travel Administrator to work with one of the leading corporate companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining files and records
  • Researching travel options and offer up a number of affordable options
  • Liaising closely with ‘clients’ and attempt to align with their travel needs
  • Booking flights, rental cars, hotel rooms and taxi arrangements as necessary
  • Fulfilling the requirement for travel permits and/or visa
  • Assisting travellers with directions and any other related information
  • Processing payment or money transfer to Airlines / Agencies
  • Monitoring the use of company credit cards and handling the cancellation orders
  • Verifying and approving travel related invoices: meeting budgetary deadlines
  • Carrying out HR Coordinator and Receptionist duties as required during periods of absence
  • Any further duties as instructed by the Director, HR Manager or HR Coordinator

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an O Level standard, ideally A Level, would be considered an asset
  • Experience in a similar role would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Amadeus Selling Platform
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office with the ability to manage databases and exploit information
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language is a must
  • An analytical, mathematical and technical mindset
  • Exceptionally well organised, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Open minded, with the ability to handle constructive criticism
  • An excellent team player
