Le Meridien Bangkok bags accolade at TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2025 – Thailand

The hotel was honoured as the winner of the awards programme’s City Centre Hotel of the Year category.

Le Meridien Bangkok’s exemplary initiatives in setting new standards in guest loyalty, sustainability, and urban luxury have been recognised at the TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2025 - Thailand. 

The establishment, which is located in the heart of Bangkok’s Silom business and entertainment district on Surawong Road, places guests at the crossroads of culture, creativity, and commerce. 

It has easy access to the best of the city as it is only a few steps from the lively Patpong Night Market, Samyan Mitrtown, and major transport lines such as Sala Daeng BTS and Sam Yan MRT.

These features brought outstanding results for Le Méridien Bangkok in 2024. Amongst them are the 70% of guests who became loyal return visitors; the guest satisfaction climbing up to 73.8%; the staff service rating hitting a record-high 80%; and the revenue growing by 14.4% year-on-year, beating post-pandemic expectations.

These successes are no accident because they were attained with a team-first culture. In line with this, the company recorded a 97% associate engagement score, which reflects a motivated team that is committed to service excellence. Notably, its long-term staff development and internal recognition programmes also created a workplace where people thrive.

Sustainability also played a major role in the hotel’s story. Le Méridien Bangkok reduced utility use by 17.7% per occupied room and aligned smart operations with environmental responsibility.

Furthermore, in 2024, it became the only operational hotel in Thailand to win the prestigious Diamond Building Award, the country’s highest honour for green building and sustainability.
