Lufthansa launches social networking platform

Lufthansa has launched its digital “Lufthansa Memory Network” campaign with the slogan “Ready to remember?”
The new website aims to inspire individuals and connect memories of travel enthusiasts by linking users on this unique platform, which can be accessed via http://www.lufthansa-memory-network.com/.
The website allows travellers to share memories with one another and access travel experiences from other like-minded explorers. The campaign aims to exchange more individual and personal travel experiences with the goal of inspiring travel.
The one-of-a-kind online photo album is organised like a neuronal network, where users’ travel memories are collected, then connected through associations such as destination, activity and date.
Users can log in with their Facebook, Twitter or email accounts and upload a photo of their favourite journey with tags mentioning location, year, event and other characteristics regarding the travel memory.
Once inside the network, users can explore memories of other travellers by searching for keywords or filtering memories based on year, continent or country, and comment on photos of other users. Each user also receives a notification once a memory is matched with that of another traveller.
Users who upload photos will be automatically entered in a draw to win prizes including a Lufthansa flight within Europe, a Rimowa suitcase with an electronic tag or a GoPro HERO5 Black camera.
