Marriott International has launched its first city hotel in Mactan with the opening of Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan. Located at Mahi Centre in the Mactan Economic Zone, the hotel features 196 rooms and aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers with its strategic location and amenities. The hotel is just three minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport, providing easy access to the Mactan Export Processing Zone and local attractions.
The hotel offers three categories of rooms—Standard Twin, Standard Queen, and Deluxe Queen—each designed with high-speed Wi-Fi, ergonomic workspaces, and comfortable beds. "We are pleased to introduce Fairfield by Marriott to Mactan, an island destination that perfectly balances business dynamism with natural paradise," said Duke Nam, Regional Vice President for Korea, Vietnam & Philippines at Marriott International.
Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan also introduces DAVOS, an all-day dining restaurant that highlights Mactan's marine heritage with locally-sourced seafood and international dishes. The hotel features versatile event spaces, including two function rooms that can be divided into smaller venues, making it suitable for corporate events and celebrations.
The hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy travel programme, allowing members to earn and redeem points. Dottie Würgler, Multi-Property General Manager, stated, "From our comfortable rooms to DAVOS restaurant celebrating local flavours, every detail is designed to make each stay effortlessly enjoyable."
Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan serves as a gateway to explore the island's cultural landmarks and diving sites, offering guests a blend of business and leisure opportunities.
