Feared by chefs around the world, the Michelin guide yesterday published the 100th edition of its gastronomy bible, the Red Guide. The Times of London reported the guide’s Director, Jean-Luc Naret, saying that the guide’s longevity was testament to its success.
“Why change a formula that works?” Naret was quoted saying. “We have no competitor in France or internationally” he added, noting that the guide sells 1.3 million copies a year worldwide.
