Morocco’s tourism sector has seen significant recovery during 2013. Statistics from Moroccan ministry of tourism show that revenue from the tourism industry crossed approximately US$506 million in January 2013. This is an increase of 5.9% over the corresponding period last year.
Analysts attribute this growth to the 3.4% increase in number of tourists in the first quarter, according to figures from the Ministry of Tourism of Morocco. Riding on this growth, Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort unveiled its 2013 family summer package. The packages are in response to rising demand from Gulf high end tourists for luxury stays.
The resort managed by Kerzner International with its portfolio including Atlantis the Palm, Dubai is attracting a large number of Saudi families every year.
