Muriya unveils new marina at Jebel Sifah

Developer Muriya has recently unveiled a 100-berth marina overlooking the Gulf of Oman at Jebel Sifah town. The inland facility was unveiled at a special soft-opening that also showcased Muriya’s plans to position Jebel Sifah as a much sought after lifestyle destination and leisure hotspot on Muscat’s shores.
The new marina will serve as a hub for yachters, recreational boaters and others with a penchant for nautical adventure.
Marinas the world over have been key drivers of yacht cruising, aqua sports, regattas and a wide spectrum of water-based activities with major spinoffs for employment generation and the local economy.
Jebel Sifah’s pier will play a key role in developing Oman as a new epicentre of nautical tourism in the region.
Designated as an Integrated Tourism Complex (ITC) by the Ministry of Tourism, Jebel Sifah boasts all the elements for an iconic development. Jebel Sifah is spread over 6.2 million square metres of waterfront edged along beaches.
In addition to the marina, the ITC will also include an 18-hole PGA golf course, marina town, freehold villas and apartments and hotels operated by namely Four Seasons hotels and resorts, Banyan Tree Hotels and resorts and Missoni in addition to the existing boutique hotel, Sifawy.
