Costa Cruises has added a new ship to its fleet – the Costa Voyager. The new liner, which was formerly part of the Iberocruceros fleet, will offer 416 cabins for a total capacity of 927 passengers. These include 16 panoramic suites and 12 suites with private balconies. Other facilities include three restaurants, four bars, a theatre, wellness centre and gym, spa treatment rooms, sauna and Turkish bath, swimming pool, disco, shopping centre and children’s club.
The ship is currently undergoing a EUR2.5 million (US$3.4 million) renovation at the San Giorgio shipyard in Genoa, Italy. Once it emerges, Costa Voyager will be deployed on a series of week-long Red Sea cruises from 20 November.
