Norse Atlantic achieves 26% passenger growth in 2025

Norse Atlantic Airways reported a significant 26% increase in passenger numbers for 2025, transporting 1.84 million passengers throughout the year. The airline's load factor reached 96%, a 12% rise from 2024, highlighting the success of its dual strategy business model implemented in the latter half of the year. This model has enhanced performance across its own network and charter operations.

In December 2025 alone, Norse Atlantic flew over 151,000 passengers, marking a 22% increase compared to December 2024. The load factor for the month was an impressive 98%, up by 4 percentage points year-on-year. The airline completed 97% of its scheduled flights, although on-time performance was affected by air traffic control delays, airport congestion, and weather issues.

CEO Eivind Roald expressed pride in the company's achievements, stating, โ€œNorse Atlantic completes 2025 with strong passenger growth, increased production and full flights. This reflects an attractive product driving customer demand in a highly competitive market.โ€ He also noted the company's progress towards a balanced business model, with six aircraft dedicated to long-term charters and the rest serving a high-graded own network.

The airline's winter programme, featuring new routes and increased frequencies, has been well received, with strong travel demand and high cargo volumes. As Norse Atlantic continues to refine its operations, it aims to maintain stable and predictable earnings whilst expanding its network and charter offerings.
