GreenCell Mobility has announced a significant expansion of its electric intercity bus service, NueGo, launching new routes across South and North India. This development positions NueGo as the fastest-growing electric intercity travel network in the country, now serving over 120 cities. The expansion aims to provide travellers with increased access to sustainable and comfortable mobility options.
The newly introduced routes include high-traffic corridors such as Chennai to Salem, Gurugram to Jaipur, and Delhi to Lucknow, among others. These additions enhance NueGo's extensive operations, improving connectivity for both business and leisure travellers. Devndra Chawla, MD and CEO of GreenCell Mobility and NueGo, stated, “We are delighted to strengthen NueGo’s national network with the addition of several new intercity routes. This expansion aligns with our mission of transforming bus travel in India through sustainable, technology-enabled, and guest-centric mobility solutions.”
NueGo prioritises passenger comfort and safety, offering features like assisted boarding, sanitised seating, and complimentary amenities. The buses are equipped with advanced safety measures, including CCTV surveillance and driver monitoring systems. Each coach undergoes 25 safety checks before departure, ensuring a secure travel experience.
Travellers can book tickets via the NueGo website or mobile app, with exclusive discounts available during the holiday season. This expansion not only enhances travel convenience but also contributes to a greener future by promoting emission-free transportation.
