Park Inn by Radisson has opened a new property in Glasgow’s city centre.
The hotel has opened after a multi-million pound restoration of the Pearl Assurance building and has 91 rooms with free Wifi and sound-proof windows.
“Glasgow is buzzing with the highly anticipated arrival of The Hydro this year and the 2014 Commonwealth Games, so the timing is perfect to bring 91 new rooms into the heart of the city. We are confident we can offer something fresh and unique to the mid-market business and leisure traveller,” said general manager Alistair Campbell.
It is decorated in Park Inn’s new modern look with ‘crew members’ throughout to help guests.
“Instead of porters, waiters and receptionists, we have recruited ‘crew members’ who will be able to work across all areas offering friendly, but non-intrusive, part assisted service. We believe this is the direction the hotel industry is going in and have recruited our team based on their passion and enthusiasm for providing a great experience for our guests,” explained Campbell.
