Pegasus Airlines launches Istanbul-Slovenia flights

Pegasus Airlines has announced the launch of direct flights between Istanbul and Ljubljana, marking Slovenia as the 55th country in its international network. The new route, which commenced on 26 January 2026, aims to enhance connectivity between Türkiye and Slovenia, offering affordable travel options for passengers.

The inaugural flight was celebrated with a ceremony at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, attended by notable figures including the Slovenian Ambassador to Türkiye and Pegasus Airlines executives. Pegasus CEO Güliz Öztürk expressed enthusiasm for the new route, stating, “We are excited to launch new direct flights connecting Istanbul with Ljubljana, as part of our continued expansion across Europe. Ljubljana is a vibrant and increasingly popular destination, and this direct route will make travel between Türkiye and Slovenia more accessible than ever.”

The flights will operate three times weekly, with departures from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport scheduled for 09:40 on Mondays and Saturdays, and 15:05 on Thursdays. Return flights from Ljubljana Airport will depart at 10:50 and 16:15 on the same days. Tickets are available starting from $53.00 (€49.99) or $53.00 (£49.99), and can be booked via the Pegasus website, mobile app, and authorised sales channels.
