Preferred Hotels Group (PHG) has revealed a trade push for its golf resorts next year as the market continues to grow. Speaking at PHG’s Global Sales and Marketing conference in London today, Stacy Shaw, vice-president marketing in the Americas at PHG told hotel members that sales staff will visit travel agents next year to showcase its golf portfolio.
In addition, she revealed that the hotel group will expand its presence in the MICE market with the launch of a new website and increasing marketing. Its LGBT (Pride) and family collections will also be boosted next year including site development and social media channels.
Meanwhile for the hoteliers, PHG has launched a new tool that allows members to view all that is said about their hotel online in one place. The IQA dashboard was dubbed the ‘next generation of quality assurance’ by PHG’s SVP development Rob Cornwell and will integrate all content onto one place. In principle the system should improve the hotels’ guest satisfaction with quicker reaction to social media comments and trends.
