The experienced cruise industry executive is stepping up after almost a decade with the line. PONANT has named Deb Corbett as Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific, among a number of key executive changes in the region for the cruise line.
She will replace Chris Hall, who is leaving Ponant, having spent the past year-and-a-half as CEO APAC. Corbett has been with Ponant for seven years, most recently as General Manager of Sales & Marketing Asia Pacific.
Corbett has 30 years in the industry, and seven with Ponant. Her team will report to Belinda Hindmarsh, Deputy CEO Global Business. Previous APAC CEO Chris Hall, who started in February 2023, had been based in Ponant HQ in Marseille since October last year. Corbett has also been elected to the CLIA Australasia Executive Committee.
