Carnival subsidiary Princess Cruises has announced the appointment of Alex White as its new head of sales in the UK.
White, who will be reporting to Paul Ludlow, UK director, will take up the position at the end of February. He has been with Carnival in various roles since 2008 – first in the sales department and then as a trading manager in the commercial team. He is currently international trading manager.
The announcement comes after Carnival revealed it would be introducing a dedicated trade sales team for Princess – the head of sales role is the first position to be announced by the firm. The team will work closely with members of both Cunard and P&O to ensure a “consistency of approach with our travel partners” Princess confirmed in a release.
