I am an enthusiastic and outgoing global citizen with a passion for facilitating the personal development of others through authentic travel experiences; my professional background in marketing and communications has aligned perfectly with my interest in travel, allowing me to apply my talents within an industry I truly love. With the past 6 years working with local operators in Asia and New Zealand, I have made meaningful connections within a variety of different communities; all of which have provided invaluable learning experiences. I maintain a strong connection to my motherland, New Zealand, with an appreciation for our nature, culture and national identity; at the same time I have developed a deep understanding of Asia through many years of living in the region. I was recruited as Content and Communications Executive for Buffalo Tours in 2018; in less than a year I was promoted to Content and Communications Manager. This was at a time when our company was officially merging to become a global destination management company, rebranded as Discova. Throughout the rebrand, I have been leading the content and communications strategy, working alongside an international team to launch this new brand on a global scale.
