Carlson has announced the opening of the Radisson Blu Hotel Liuzhou in China, taking its countrywide portfolio to 11 hotels with over 3,500 rooms. The 260-room property has over 900m2 of meeting space, including a 630m2 ballroom and four multi-function meeting rooms. It also has multiple dining venues serving international and local cuisine, and a roof bar on the 26th floor.
This is the seventh Radisson Blu branded property in China and Liuzhou’s first internationally-branded and managed hotel. Simon C. Barlow, President of Carlson Hotels for Asia Pacific, said; “The opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Liuzhou brings us one step closer to doubling our Asia Pacific portfolio from 72 to 150 hotels by 2015.”
